The AI Prompt UI control allows you to align digital experiences with natural human behavior. Designed to streamline the integration of your favorite GenAI services into your Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX applications, this new component sends prompts and then maps the response.

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX AI Prompt empowers users with a sleek, modern interface for seamless AI interactions while giving developers effortless customization. It enables three predefined views to interact with: Prompt, Output, and Commands, along with a Custom view that allows you to configure and show additional content based on your project's requirements.

Effortless customization is also available. From configuring the prompt suggestion items in the prompt view to playing with the view and footer template, you can adjust any AI Prompt feature to suit your needs.

Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX Chart Series Enhanced with a Pyramid Chart

Leverage the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX Pyramid Chart to visualize a single series of data in progressively increasing proportions. These data series are organized into segments where one represents the value for the particular item from the series. The values of the items also influence the height and the shape of the corresponding segments.

Pyramid Charts are suitable when you want to compare and contrast your data, communicate data in an easy-to-read format, understand large amounts of data quickly or display the relative proportions of different items. This Chart series is often used to represent stages in a priority process, population visualization, singular datasets, etc.

Telerik and Kendo UI License Key Files

A few years ago, we introduced a licensing mechanism for Kendo UI, and with Q1 2025, we are expanding the same straightforward and flexible licensing mechanism to the rest of the products in the portfolio. The goal is to provide a unified approach to licensing across Telerik and Kendo UI collection of libraries and tools, allowing teams to focus on innovation while maintaining compliance with ease. We believe that this change better serves the evolving needs of developers and organizations and will enable us to further improve the license management experience we provide.

Document Processing Libraries (DPL) Enhancements in 2025 Q1

With 2025 Q1 release, we’ve introduced a major enhancement to the PdfProcessing library by adding support for Optical Character Recognition (OCR). It enables conversion of images of typed, handwritten, or printed text into machine-encoded text from a scanned document.  

Several other improvements in the PdfProcessing library accompany the OCR update. These include support for adding barcodes to a PDF document, option for setting height to table rows, API that allows optimization and reduction of the size of existing PDF files and so much more.
