I use "Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition"
to develop a web application on WIndows XP SP2. After complete install
telerik reporting trial version that i just download yesterday.
I try a demo program and it work just fine.
But when i begin to design a new report in VWD Express,
I create folder App_Code in my project, and select
"Add New Item" in my project but can't find any
"Telerik Report" item. so i don't know what to do next...
Something that i found strange, is that the installation
program is create a folder "D:\VS80_ENV_DIR\PrivateAssemblies\"
that contain file "Telerik.Reporting.VsPackage.dll" inside.
and other thing is i can't find a file "TelerikReport.zip"
anywhere on my machine.
How can i fix this ?

Hi,
Telerik Reporting supports only the standard versions of Visual Studio. It does not support Visual Web Developer Express or the other express editions of Visual Studio. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You can review the System Requirements of the Reporting here: http://www.telerik.com/products/reporting/system-requirements.aspx

Does Telerik Reporting Q2 now support Visual Web Developer Express? If not, will there be support in the future? If there is no support, are there workarounds?

Hi Aaron,
To our great regret Telerik Reporting Q2 2007 does not support Express editions of Visual Studio 2005 (system requirements). These versions come with a limited functionality that prevent the report designer from working correctly.
