Thank you for contacting Telerik. We have an existing ticket in our Feedback Portal that addresses an issue with Test Explorer in VS2012 not discovering Test Studio tests. This should have been fixed in the Test Studio 2012.2.1420 update. Based on your description, this is still an issue.
I've gotten reports in the past that this behavior may be related to the way the Solution is being launched in Visual Studio. How are you opening your Solution? Does this issue happen with newly created Solutions? Projects? I think the best way to confirm the behavior would be to reproduce the symptoms locally.
Please provide a copy of one of your affected solutions. Keep in mind that our ticket system only supports attachments with .zip, .rar, .ace, .jpg, .gif, .css, or .png formats. You will need to compress the .sln file before attaching it to the ticket system.
Also, a screenshot of the behavior would be extremely useful. This way, we have something that can immediately be forwarded to our QA team for further testing.
I've converted this public forum post to a private support ticket to preserve your privacy.

I right click on the scenario I made and select add test and it says 'There are no tests available to pick'
Can you be more specific. When you say "I right click on the scenario I made", are you referring to what you see in the Test Explorer pane? In order to for me to fully understand, please include a screenshot or short video of the page that you are having trouble with. I recommend using Jing for short videos but you can use whatever screen recording software you like.

I am experiencing the same problem on VS2013.
I am using Test Studio Ultimate 2014.2.618.0 with VS2013. My PC is Window8.
This is what I did.
1) In VS 2013, Create a Telerik Test Project. This by default also create a webtest1.tstest test case. This webtest1 can be seen in VS Test Explorer.
2) Save and then close the project.
3) Exit VS2013
4) Run VS2013 and open Telerik Test Project.
5) webtest1 cannot be found in Test Explorer.
I attached the project.
Please help.
Thanks
Wai
Please try when you open the project to do a build and then check out if the test appears in the test explorer. You can also use the search in order to locate the test in question.
In the mean time I will try reproduce this behavior and investigate further.

Please check your Visual Studio output and whether there are any errors listed. Have you tried the suggestions in the previous post? What the result would be?
It would be also quite useful if you could provide us the project in question or any sample one that reproduces the behavior. Thanks in advance!

Hi
I am using test studio version 2017.1.207.0.
I have slightly same issue. I do see some of my tests. But other are missing. When I try to make a new test with the same name that is missing. It shows me an error message that says "Test with taht name already exists."
Thanks for your help.
Thank you for contacting us.
Have you tried the previously proposed actions? Was there any change in the behavior?
What is your Visual Studio version and do you observe the issue for a particular project or it is the same if a new one is created as well?
Unfortunately this is an inconsistent behavior which we usually could not replicate. Please try reset the extension named Telerik.TestStudio.TestAdapter from the Tools - Extension and Updates. First disable it and try to enable it.
If that doesn't help re-registering the extension may also help. Unfortunately this is only possible via re-installing the product.
Please give a try to the above suggestions and let me know if there is any change in the behavior. Please provide some further info on the topics listed above as well - this might be helpful to find a solution. Thanks in advance for your time and cooperation!
