Read barcode

Is it possible to read barcode image using camera and get the decoded text?

As far as I know, the RadBarCode control does not provide an option to read the encoded image using any imaging devices.

Shinu is correct.  The barcode control is for displaying not reading barcodes.  

For camera based barcode reading, a good place to start looking is ZXing.Net.  A lot of the commercial barcode readers are based off of ZXing, but with extensions to make integrating it very simple.

This feature is not available in the RadBarCode control. But Telerik recently introduced this feature in their RadBarCode control for Silverlight and WPF.

I am trying to set a width and height for my qr code but it is rendered in a fixed size. Any work around?

Try setting the DotSize to 0 so that the QR symbol get resized to fill up the Width and Height.

you'd better install a .net barcode scanner into your camera, so this camera of yours can be used to read and recognize barcode.

You can integrate C# barcode recognition component in your application ,then use it to read any type of barcode..hope this helps.
