I need the MS Help Viewer installer download but can't find it in the list of downloads. Where can I get this? The web documentation is too difficult to use.
I'm using version 2016.1.225 of the asp.net ajax controls.
This is the page I have found and it refers to an installer download that I can't find.
"Installing local documentation for MS Help viewer (Help3) in Visual Studio 2010"
https://www.telerik.com/support/kb/aspnet-ajax/details/installing-local-documentation-for-ms-help-viewer-(help3)-in-visual-studio-2010
(I'm using visual studio 2013 but that may not matter)

The documentation for the UI for ASP.NET AJAX suite is Git based and located in GitHub: https://github.com/telerik/ajax-docs. It is always the latest version and you can clone it locally for offline access. You may also find useful the Wiki for help with getting started and local builds: https://github.com/telerik/ajax-docs/wiki.

Is there any way to obtain the old msi installer for the integrated F1 help? That's all I need.
I don't think the formatting and presentation design for the new web help is very useful.
The API is almost unlearn-able the way it is now. Too bad since I think there's a lot of good stuff in there.
The last version which offers Help2 offline documentation is Q1 2015 (2015.1.225) and you can download it from https://www.telerik.com/account/product-download?product=RCAJAX, by selecting the version 2015.1.225 from the Version dropdown and downloading the Telerik_UI_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_Help2_2015_1_225.zip file as shown in this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/kzU9ScZXz.

That's the version I have. It is the help3 that worked for me. I don't understand the online help -- it seems incomplete. The ms help has api information that I need, and I can find it with the F1 key in vs2013. Thank you.
I agree that the Help2/3 documentations offer integration with Visual Studio which is quite helpful. Unfortunately we cannot provide anymore those types of documentation installations because of the migration to GitHub and a new documentation system.
For the time being you can use the latest available version of the documentation for Help3 which is for version Q1 2015 (2015.1.225). For the new components released after 2015, you can use the online help.
