Looking suggestions on the best way to mask all but the last 4 digits of the SSN in a column (xxx-xx-9999) but still allow the builtin filtering to work on the entire SSN column?

Haven't really seen any posts in reference to such a thing and I just really started looking at it.

Hello Brett,

Note that the required functionality is officially not supported. I would suggest you to refer to the following forum thread in which my colleague Veli provided a proper approach for implementing this behaviour.
However as I mentioned this is not supported functionality and we could not guarantee this will work in any scenarios and in case the input is placed in RadGrid and you filter on its value.
