Hi,
I am creating a html page with a Sample report by following the steps mentioned in "Configuring the HTML5 Report Viewer to work with Report Server using Item Templates" using VS 2017.
When i run the application using VS Code(HTTP-SERVER) or VS 2017, the Report is not rendered in Chrome browser. But the same works in IE 11 and the report displays perfectly without any issue.
PFA; Screenshots attached.
Please advice.
Thanks,

Update 1
I restarted my machine. The Report displays/works in Chrome & IE 11 if i run the application from VS 2017. The Report DOESNT display/work in Chrome (Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit)) when i run the application from VS Code.

Update 2
The report works (VS Code) now but only if the url:port is as http://localhost:63456/Html5ReportViewer3.html.
The report doesnt work if the port is changed to say 8082 (http://localhost:8082/)
Can you please advice on this?
Thanks,

Hello Balaji,
As you've opened a support ticket with the same question, let me share my answer here as well:
"From the provided information, I understood that you are experiencing CORS issues while trying to run a report, hosted on the Report Server. And this issue is only reproducible in the Chromium-based browsers.
A possible root of the issue might be the problem described in Additional CORS implementation on the Reports REST service of the Report Server bug report or mismatching versions between the Reporting and Report Server.
For the first suggestion, I'm attaching a short video that demonstrates how to add a setting in the IIS (this will be added automatically after the release) that will enable running the application in the Chromium-based browsers.
If this is not the case, then the second suggestion might be - mismatching versions of the two products. Please check if the installed version of the Telerik Report Server corresponds to Telerik Reporting one. For example version 14.1.20.618 of Telerik Reporting corresponds to 6.1.20.618 of Telerik Report Server.
Additionally, running either from VS or VS Code should not produce any differences."
