To add a div with a custom class to the TreeView elements, I would suggest you to use a template. Additional information could be found in the documentation and in our demos.

Regarding the structure from the attached image, you could easily achieve the same look for the TreeView items, but currently the widget does not include a configuration option for the handles between them i.e. the handles with the triangle icon will still be visible, unless you hide them explicitly via CSS.
