Some of the applications use different line spacing while drawing text lines, while we measure using the same line spacing for all formats. This is where the difference comes from - as we have no way of knowing what line spacing would a viewer software (Acrobat, Excel etc.) use. In other words, we've made it look correct for the image rendering (PDF) and excel in particular is drawing the text lines with different line spacing.

Is this something you can't fix, ever?
Do you really need to set a height for the columns in the excel?
Will it just be one line heigh if you don't set the height or why do you set it?

In particular, I have a report that contains a single table of textboxes whose rows are sometimes cutting off the last line of text.
Thanks.

As stated in the previous post by my colleague the issue is due the fact that the different media viewers have a slightly different line spacing. While we internally use GDI+ for measuring and rendering the different media viewers have algorithms that slightly differ and those algorithms are not public so we are not able to use them. Instead we are using some heuristic methods for measuring and rendering so that the content fits in all media.
As a conclusion we can say that currently this known issue cannot be fixed since we still do not know how to achieve that task. However you can rest assured that we do our best in order to provide you with an acceptable solution and if one is available it will be implemented as soon as possible.
That being said there exists a workaround that might be applicable in your case and that is to add a new line at the end of each textbox.

Team,
Is this issue is resolved now. Still after exporting to excel if data size is large then data is splitting and moving to next cell. Please help me ASAP.
Please check my post in the Table in Report forum thread.
We will appreciate it if we continue the discussion in one of the threads.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Jola,
Microsoft Excel does not allow explicitly setting of the line spacing so we cannot reduce its value and the autofit function of the rows works only when there are no merged rows and the height of the row is not explicitly set. This does not give us any chance except to change the measuring of the TextBoxes only for Excel rendering which, however, will lead to a different report layout than designed (see Design Considerations for Excel Rendering) and may cause undesired effects.
You can find more details in the Table in Report forum thread.
